Through this heavy-duty storm that hit the Seacoast, our volunteers showed up without hesitation. We staffed two ambulances at our station in Durham and an additional one in Lee.

A huge thank you to the Lee Fire Department for housing our third ambulance. And a huge thank you to our volunteers who step up in any conditions to keep our neighbors safe. ❄️🚑💙

This week, five McGregor members traveled to Cañazas, Panama alongside Global Medical Brigades 🌍🚑

Together with 35 UNH students, the team hosted three clinic days, delivering care, education, and support to the local community. From triage and vitals to patient flow and teamwork, this experience highlighted the power of collaboration across borders and the impact students can make!

We’re proud to see our members representing McGregor and UNH on a global scale, applying prehospital skills while learning from communities around the world.

A special shoutout to Katie Martel, McGregor Senior Attendant and President of the UNH Global Medical Brigades chapter, and Tyler Darling, McGregor Attendant and Business Coordinator, for helping make this experience possible. 💙🌎

Durham Man Arrested on Hunter Harassment and Felony Threatening/Conduct Charges

On Monday, December 15, 2025, NH Fish and Game Conservation Officers arrested Stephen Harriman (56) of 181 Newmarket Road in the Town of Durham, NH. Harriman has been charged with threatening another local resident while that person was lawfully deer hunting on a neighboring property owned and managed by the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, known as the Lamprey River Wildlife Management Area. Conservation Officers investigated the complaint and have charged Harriman with felony level Criminal Threatening with a Firearm, felony level Reckless Conduct with a Firearm, and violation level Hunter Harassment. It is alleged that he used a firearm to intimidate and harass the hunter during this event.

Due to the nature of the alleged conduct, past interactions, and to ensure the safety of all involved, including Mr. Harriman, the Strafford County Regional Tactical Operations Unit (SCRTOU) was utilized to safely take him into custody. The Strafford County Regional Tactical Operations Unit is a highly trained unit, comprised of law enforcement and fire officials within Strafford County that responds to situations that require a more specialized police response.

New Hampshire Fish and Game Law Enforcement Division would like to extend its gratitude to all of the hardworking personnel from the Durham Police Department, Newmarket Police Department, University of New Hampshire Police Department, Durham Fire Department, McGregor Memorial EMS, Strafford County Regional Tactical Operations Unit, Belknap Special Operations Group, and the Seacoast Emergency Response Team.

Mr. Harriman also had outstanding warrants for failing to appear on similar charges from this past May that were issued by the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department. He is being held at the Strafford County House of Corrections pending arraignment.

🚑📚 Training Together, Caring Together

McGregor EMS recently partnered with UNH senior nursing students for a full-scale simulation that bridged pre-hospital and in-hospital care. From the initial 911 call to patient handoff, students experienced the entire continuum of care alongside our team.

These scenarios help future providers build confidence, sharpen communication, and understand how every moment in the field impacts the next steps in the hospital.

Proud to support the next generation of nurses 💙
