Thunderbolt Pose: learning how to hold power without burning out.

Lately the world feels heavy.
The news is loud.
Public conversations feel charged and unkind.

I’m reminding myself of this:

I can’t regulate the public conversation.
But I can regulate the small ecosystem of my life.

My home.
My children.
My body.
My breath.
My voice - when it truly matters.

That’s where change actually takes root.

Thunderbolt Pose (Vajrasana) teaches power without explosion.
Stillness without collapse.
Energy gathered, ready but not wasted.

When times are heavy, rootedness becomes a form of leadership.
Not because it fixes everything -
but because it keeps our humanity intact.

There comes a moment
when effort stops being wisdom.

Not because we don’t care,
but because care has matured.

This is the space between fixing and listening.
Between holding it all together
and allowing something else to learn how to stand.

Nothing here is abandonment.
Nothing here is collapse.

It’s a recalibration.
A shift from force to orientation.
From being the engine
to trusting the compass.

This is where regulation becomes relational.
Where strength is shared.
Where systems breathe. 🤍

As you rise into Upward Worship, allow this to move through you:
lifted and steady, grounded and free.

Winter is still wintering here in the Pacific Northwest,
a season for steady roots, quiet strength, and gentle recalibration.
