Could Artificial Intelligence replace your Hypnotherapist?
Despite the remarkable advancements in artificial intelligence, the irreplaceable role of human empathy and intuition in hypnotherapy remains. Establishing rapport, active listening, and providing genuine therapeutic empathy are inherently human qualities that AI simply cannot replicate. These elements form the bedrock of a trusting therapeutic relationship, which is fundamental to successful clinical hypnosis.
Human hypnotherapists bring a depth of understanding, compassion, and the ability to respond to complex, non-verbal cues that go beyond pattern recognition. This human touch in therapy is what allows for truly transformative healing, making human hypnotherapists essential even with technological advances. The demand for mental health professionals, particularly those offering a human connection, continues to grow, underscoring this resilience.

Exploring the Complex Link Between Suggestibility and Sexuality
Suggestibility and sexuality are connected through the way people’s openness to influence can impact their sexual thoughts, feelings, and actions. Suggestibility means how easily someone can be swayed or guided by others, which can play a role in how they discover or express their sexual identity and preferences. It can affect how individuals respond to social messages about sexuality, their willingness to try new experiences, or how they communicate consent. Understanding this link is important for ensuring that sexual experiences are based on genuine desire and clear agreement, rather than pressure or manipulation.

The Psychology of Persuasion: How Businesses Use Dark Patterns to Influence Consumers
Businesses often use dark patterns—design tactics that manipulate users into making choices they might not otherwise make—to increase sales, gather more personal data, or retain customers. These deceptive techniques include hiding opt-out options, using confusing language, or creating urgency through false scarcity. While effective in driving short-term gains, dark patterns can harm user trust and damage a company’s reputation over time, raising ethical concerns about transparency and fairness in digital interactions.

What Are Personality Assessments?
Personality assessments are structured tools—usually questionnaires or guided tasks—designed to measure patterns of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that make each person unique. By translating complex human traits into scores or descriptive profiles, they help us understand how someone typically thinks, feels, and acts in different situations.
Why Do People Use Them?
Career Guidance – matching people to roles where they will likely thrive.
Clinical Settings – clarifying diagnoses or treatment plans.
Team Building – improving communication and reducing conflict.
Research – studying links between personality and life outcomes.
Self-Reflection – gaining insight for personal growth.
Practical example: A student unsure about majors takes a career-oriented personality test and sees high scores on curiosity, imagination, and openness. The counselor suggests fields such as design, marketing, or research.

Perhaps you've considered investigating hypnosis and hypnotherapy but were put off by the "mystical" trappings that some associate with it. If so, you've come to the right place.
My practice centers on things that you can read about in medical journals, methods that are researched and peer-reviewed. In the hypnosis business, that approach is called "medical" or "clinical" and includes hypnosis for trauma, PTSD, pain management, anxiety, eating disorders, and more, but does not include "past lives", "remote healing" or other mystical stuff.
Behavioral psychology and hypnosis go hand in hand. Someone once described a hypnotherapist as a "subconscious behaviorist," and I think that represents what I do pretty well.
Here are a few facts about me:
