In honor of American Heart Month, here are 3 tips for maintaining a healthy heart 👇

🍎 Eat a Heart-Healthy Diet: Focus on a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. Reduce your intake of saturated fats, trans fats, sodium, and added sugars. Incorporate foods that are high in omega-3 fatty acids, such as fish, flaxseeds, and walnuts, which can contribute to heart health.

🏃‍♂️Stay Physically Active: Engage in regular physical activity to keep your heart strong. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity exercise per week. Activities like brisk walking, jogging, swimming, or cycling can help maintain a healthy weight, lower blood pressure, and improve overall cardiovascular fitness.
