Please help us welcome Parker Millner to the team at STAR Physical Therapy โ€“ Dyersburg! ๐Ÿ‘

Parker is joining our clinic as a Tech, and weโ€™re excited to have him on board. He graduated from Union University with a bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science and also works as a programmer as an independent contractor.

Parker shared that heโ€™s looking forward to meeting everyone and learning more about STAR, and weโ€™re glad heโ€™s here!

Outside of work, he enjoys playing sports, watching movies, and playing video games, and heโ€™s recently started getting into hunting and fishing as well.

Fun fact about Parker: heโ€™s colorblind!

Since our founding in 1997, STAR Physical Therapy has a strong foundation of Athletic Training and Sports Medicine. This month, weโ€™re especially proud to recognize our incredible Athletic Trainers who serve more than 30 high schools and colleges across Tennessee and Arkansas.

From high school sidelines to college campuses, youth sports fields to industrial workplaces, our Athletic Trainers are on the sidelines, in the training rooms, and behind the scenes caring for athletes, preventing injuries, guiding recovery, and building relationships within the communities we serve.

We are incredibly proud to recognize Dyersburg High School seniors Ava Anglin and Theresa Kay Stone for presenting at the 2026 DECA Convention in Chattanooga, TN!

This year, Ava and Theresa Kay partnered with STAR Physical Therapy for their marketing project!

With guidance from our Marketing Director, Megan Greene, these talented young leaders developed a strategic marketing plan to enhance STARโ€™s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Their concept was not only strategic โ€” it was incredibly fitting for who we are as a company.

At STAR, our mission is simple: To Serve. Ava and Theresa Kay leaned into that mission by creating a plan to host an athletic injury prevention clinic โ€” a proactive way to serve student-athletes to prevent potential injuries. Their proposal beautifully reflected our commitment to serving our community with clinical excellence through intentional relationships, teamwork, and leadership.

Their project highlighted what CSR truly means โ€” not just giving back, but intentionally investing in the health, safety, and long-term well-being of the communities we are honored to be part of.

The DECA convention hosted over 3,500 students, and Ava and Theresa Kay were among approximately 30 groups presenting in their specific category. To compete at that level among so many driven, innovative students is an accomplishment in itself โ€” and we have no doubt they represented STAR and DHS with professionalism, confidence, and excellence!

We are honored to be a community partner with Dyersburg High School and are so proud of Ava and Theresa Kay for their hard work, leadership, and heart for service.

Weโ€™re so excited to introduce Jared, who joined us in September of 2025. From day one, Jared has brought a genuine passion for helping others, along with a strong knowledge base that shows in the way he cares for our patients.

Jaredโ€™s background in Health and Human Performance, combined with his Masterโ€™s in Athletic Training, gives him a deep understanding of movement, recovery, and what it truly takes to help people get back to doing what they love. He even worked professionally as an intern for the WNBAโ€™s Atlanta Dream โ€” a pretty amazing experience that reflects his dedication to learning and growing in his field.

Jared shared, โ€œI am so thankful to have found my place. STAR says they donโ€™t just treat you like family, you are family, and I can confidently say they live that out, at every turn.
