This week and every week we appreciate and celebrate the staff of Cape Surgery Center, LLC and Cape Regional Eye Center, PLLC! This week is special because it's national surgical technologist week. Our group of certified surgical technologists are incredibly knowledgeable, dependable, dedicated and tremendously hard working. No surgical technologists = no surgery! A few weeks ago as one of our patients was having an eye exam and treatment in our office, she experienced a life threatening medical emergency. With the quick thinking, action and intervention by Mary Beth, RN and the rest of our specialty trained RN staff, the patient was stabilized and transported to the hospital for further treatment. Our RNs are highly specialized, skilled , experienced and are also required to be ACLS certified with their certifications renewed on schedule and kept current. Who said supermen and women had to wear capes??? Hats off to our very own supermen and women who are a part of TEAM CAPE👊🏻👊🏻

This weekend the eye tech team of Cape Regional Eye Center , PLLC and Dr Richard Cape attended the Southern Eye Congress conference held in Destin, Florida. The conference was informative and enjoyable. Keeping our staff and Dr Cape on the cutting edge of eye technology and surgery is our primary goal. This year's conference was a tremendous success!
