Did you know Oscillation and Lung Expansion (OLE) therapy has been shown to significantly reduce postoperative pulmonary complications (PPCs)?

A multicenter study found OLE therapy reduced:
🔹 PPC rates by 31%
🔹 Length of stay by 1.6 days
🔹 Ventilator time by 64%
🔹 PPCs in intubated patients by 47%

These results highlight the impact OLE therapy can have on postoperative recovery.

Why expiratory flow bias matters in airway clearance

Expiratory flow bias is one of the simplest “physics wins” in airway clearance: when exhalation flow exceeds inhalation flow, mucus is more likely to move toward the central airways.
