With the start of 2026, I’m happy to share that I’ve taken over as the chair of the Council of Representatives Rural Health Caucus. In the past few months, our caucus has been busy collaborating with the APA Committee on Rural Health to draft a potential resolution to support mental health in rural communities. It’s currently out for public comments and the comment period closes tomorrow. If you’re interested and want to provide your thoughts, please consider doing so now!

Folks at the su***de prevention resources are great for crises...although never hesitate to or go to your nearest emergency room.
