Since February is Berry Fresh Month, we thought it was a berry good time to highlight some of these tasty fruits and offer tips for incorporating them into your daily diet.

Blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries are rich in nutrients, antioxidants, and fiber. These superfruits help:

• Enhance cognitive function and lower the risk of dementia
• Promote heart health
• Aid in digestion
• Reduce age-related inflammation

Adding berries to your daily diet is easy and delicious. Consider having berries as a snack or putting them in salads, cereal, yogurt, or oatmeal.

February is American Heart Month and a good reminder to take an active role in keeping your heart healthy. Heart disease affects people of all ages, genders, and ethnicities. Each year, more than 650,000 Americans die from heart disease.

You can lower your risk of heart disease by:

• Eating a balanced, healthy diet
• Managing cholesterol and blood pressure
• Staying active

Talk to your doctor about a cholesterol test to find out if you may be at risk and what kind of adjustments you can make to protect your heart.

At Eagan Pointe, we kicked off Winter Carnival Week 2026 with our annual Coronation, made extra special by the participation of the 2025 St. Paul Winter Carnival Royalty. Eagan Pointe’s royal court was formally knighted by the St. Paul King, creating a memorable start to the festivities.

Our King, Lynn F., was proudly crowned, and although Queen Norma H. was unable to attend in person, she was honored through her photo and remained an important part of the celebration.
