Rotary Senior Living We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care for seniors in a warm and supportive community.

Our mission is to ensure every resident feels at home. Rotary Senior Living excels in personalized care, we customize service offerings and create a preference-based relationship. Our residents have the freedom to make choices that deliver day to day fulfillment. We are located in Eagle Grove, Iowa. Approximately 40 minutes from Mason City, Iowa Falls, or Ames, and approximately 20 minutes from the cities of Clarion, Fort Dodge, Humboldt, and Webster City. Being centrally located to regional hospitals, specialty clinics, and medical centers is one of the many perks of Rotary Senior Living.

On the morning of Tuesday, November 11th, at approximately 6:50 a.m., a small fire occurred in the auxiliary room located down the 100 hall of our skilled nursing facility. Our sprinkler system immediately activated upon detection, helping contain the fire to the area of origin.

Multiple local fire departments were dispatched and responded promptly. Out of an abundance of caution, residents in nearby rooms were safely transferred to another secure area of the campus while the situation was assessed.

By 7:30 a.m., Rotary Senior Living staffโ€”alongside regional support teams, volunteers, and emergency respondersโ€”began the cleanup process. Damage was thoroughly assessed, and a detailed cleaning of each room and common area is currently underway. We are pleased to share that the majority of displaced residents have safely returned to the skilled nursing facility.

We remain deeply grateful to the fire departments, emergency service teams, and community members whose quick action and care ensured everyoneโ€™s safety.

Thanks to the dedication of our staff, the professionalism of our first responders, and the support of our community, damage was minimalโ€”and most importantly, there were no injuries. Rotary Senior Living remains committed to maintaining a safe, caring environment for all residents and is proud to be part of such a compassionate and responsive community.
