Weather Update: The National Weather Service has issued another update indicating strong to severe storms are expected this evening, including the potential for large hail, damaging winds, heavy rain, and isolated tornadoes.

Maverick Home Health encourages everyone in our community to remain weather aware and follow local alerts. Please stay safe tonight.

Additional strong to severe storms capable of large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes will form this evening (March 10) and move into the southern Edwards Plateau and western Hill Country. Locally heavy rain is possible. Severe storms have already produced these hazards.

⚠️ Weather Alert ⚠️

The National Weather Service reports widespread freezing rain and sleet across the Hill Country and I-35 corridor, with icing impacts escalating. Travel is strongly discouraged unless absolutely necessary.

At Maverick Home Health, the safety of our patients, families, and staff is our top priority. Please stay warm and take extra precautions tonight.

9 PM - Jan 24: Widespread freezing rain embedded with sleet has overspread the Hill Country into portions of the I-35 corridor. Another round of freezing rain and sleet is approaching the Rio Grande from Mexico. Icing impacts are escalating. Do not travel unless necessary!
