We had our first paint & sip activity recently, and it was so much fun we definitely will do this again! A big thank you to Penny Reed, who not only led the class but brought all the supplies needed.

Our staff Christmas party this year was a great success! With games, a raffle, good food and lots of great conversation.Everyone had a very festive time!

Today, we decided to trade our usual standing strength and balance class for a refreshing fall walk in the wind. The decision was unanimous! We returned to Lakeland feeling completely rejuvenated and energized by the fresh air and the warmth of the sunshine.

Lakeland Senior Community Honors Our Veterans.
Lakeland Senior Community proudly celebrated Veterans Day with a heartfelt tribute to the men and women who have served our country.
The ceremony began with the flag salute presented by Alyssa Powell and Zain Callison of Scouting America, Pacific Crest Council.
Chef John treated everyone to a delicious prime rib lunch, complete with scalloped potatoes, asparagus and a decadent chocolate cake for dessert. Our administrator Josh Johnson presented each veteran with a Certificate of Service plaque, accompanied by warm handshakes and heartfelt gratitude.
A special Thank you goes to Heaven Scent Flowers for their beautiful floral. arrangements that brightened the celebration.
It was a wonderful day filled with appreciation and pride. Everyone had a great time honoring our heroes!

This year's Halloween was a huge hit here at Lakeland Senior Living! We had a fantastic lineup of activities, including a Trunk-or-Treat, a pumpkin decorating contest, popcorn, and a special witches brew. To top it off, the staff participated in a costume parade. A big shout-out to resident Dorothy, who won the pumpkin decorating contest----way to go Dorothy!
