I have a confession to make, I am not as mindful as I may seem. I don’t read as much as I’d like. I loose my temper, I have regrets…

Have you ever wondered if meditation could help you feel more calm, confident and clear? Perhaps you’ve tried in the past but struggle to keep up a consistent routine, and that’s okay!

I wanted to share this post because I think it can be helpful when just starting out.

So what is Mindfulness vs. Meditation? And What’s the Difference? ✨

Mindfulness and meditation are powerful practices for inner peace, but they’re not quite the same. Here’s a simple breakdown:

🌸 Mindfulness:
- A state of mind that leads to greater awareness and appreciation
-Being fully present in the moment.
- Can be practiced anytime—walking, eating, or even washing dishes!

šŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļø Meditation:
- A structured practice (like sitting still or focusing on your breath).
- A tool to cultivate mindfulness and build emotional balance.
-often includes other tools such as mudras,mantras, kryas, and breath-work to deepen the benefits

🌟 Both reduce stress, enhance focus, and promote self-awareness. However, Mindfulness is a way of being; meditation is a practice to help you get there.

Hello Beautiful!

My name is Mycellia—though most people know me as Myckie.

I thought I’d share a bit about myself so that we can get to know each other better.

I’m a Scorpio rising with a Sagittarius sun and moon, and I’ve always felt drawn to adventure and self-discovery.

My love for the outdoors began early on with family camping trips, hiking, and scouting local hot-springs with my dad.

My journey hasn’t been without challenges however. Being adopted and navigating life between two households after my parents’ divorce at age 4 left me feeling like I didn’t quite belong. I was a shy kid with a lot of anxious energy so I threw myself into sports to stay active. But in my early teens, I faced my toughest challenge yet: a full-blown eating disorder.

Through treatment and deep soul-searching, I discovered yoga—and it changed everything. Yoga became my path to heal my inner critic and overcome the limiting beliefs holding me back.

Now, my passion is to help guide other driven woman to find meaning and create balance by living well.

After many years of searching and seeking I’ve come to believe that Happiness is not out there, it’s within you.

Mindfulness is a radical act of self love, it all starts when we pause, release the kneed to know why and explore our inner world without judgement.
