We are excited to share that applications are now open for the Artistic Director position at Dances for a Variable Population.
The Artistic Director is a full-time leadership opportunity for an experienced leader, dance artist, and educator who is passionate about collaborative, community-centered work, and the power of movement to support health, creativity, and connection.
The Artistic Director will work closely with the Executive Director to provide vision and artistic leadership for Dances for a Variable Population (DVP) in service of our mission to transform the lives of older adults through dance. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Artistic Director is responsible for the artistic and community based educational programs of DVP, helping to steward the next chapter of an organization that has spent 20 years expanding access to dance across New York City.
