Dr. Deed Harrison and his team Publish in a top tier journal on Radiation health physics. Their study finds that Chiropractors use of xrays to analyze and treat spine disorders is an evidence based practice that is safe, clinically important, and improves patient outcomes.
We, through the ICA research council, wrote and published a very serious and debilitating critique of the Chiropractic College of British Columbia’s anti xray policy.
We completely dismantled their arguments and discredited their flagship paper by Corso et al (And Pierre Cote). In fact we burned their false flag to the ground to a mere pile of ashes with our critique.

“Herein, we have cited dozens of chiropractic studies that should have been included in the contracted Côté review and hundreds of others that directly apply to modern, evidence-based, and radiography-guided chiropractic clinical practice. We recommend the CCBC to reverse its unscientific policy regarding the unprecedented restrictions of licenced chiropractors to take X-rays. Public health policy changes based on scientific misinformation through faulty and biased study design are a major threat to the safety and health of the public.”

“Radiation exposures from X-rays used in the assessment and monitoring of patients receiving particular forms of chiropractic and manual therapy treatments are not a public health threat. These low-dose radiation exposures have not been shown to cause harm; in fact, all recent evidence shows it reduces carcinogenic effects. The rationale to avoid X-rays based on LNT-based mythology is perpetuating radiophobia surrounding carcinogenic fears that will not occur. Outdated misinformation of the dangers of medically warranted X-rays should cease”.

Restoration of the cervical sagittal alignment, in terms of cervical lordosis and anterior head translation, has a direct influence on the central conduction time. Clinical interventions directed at improving central processing through restoring the normal sagittal alignment could be added to clinical interventions targeting specific spinal disorders.”
