Avoid Toxins! Read your product labels! 👀🚫
Many lotions, candles, and cleaning products contain potentially toxic ingredients like phthalates, parabens, formaldehyde, PFAS, sulfates, and synthetic fragrances, which can act as hormone disruptors, cause skin irritation, or have links to cancer, impacting reproductive, neurological, and metabolic health.
As a reference, the Environmental Working Group (EWG) provides lists of the worst offenders, including fragrance (often hiding phthalates), heavy metals, and VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) in cleaners.
