The Rural Outreach Center will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th in recognition of Veterans Day. If you need emergency assistance during that time, please call 911 or Crisis Services at (716) 834-3131. The ROC will reopen with our normal hours on Wednesday, November 12th.

Our wonderful friends at Village Play are collecting items for Sarah's Pantry - our basic human needs item pantry that helps families with items that SNAP doesn't cover, like personal care items and cleaning supplies. Drop off a donation at their location for a chance to win a free Open Play pass!

Our awesome friends at Left Coast Taco are supporting The ROC through a 'Round up at the Register' campaign! When you order, you'll have the chance to round up your change to the nearest dollar in support of The ROC's emergency response to the current SNAP and HEAP delays and in support of our day-to-day work providing families living in rural poverty with the tools they need to achieve their goals.

Local artist and ROC founding member Nancy Cerny is hosting a Holiday Art Exhibit & Sale on Friday November 14th and Saturday November 15th! A percentage of proceeds will be donated to The ROC. We hope to see you there!

Nancy Cerny, an amazing local artist and one of the founders of The ROC, is hosting a Holiday Art Exhibit & Sale at her studio on November 14th (5-9PM) and 15th (10AM-4PM) along with artist Susan Somerville. A percentage of proceeds of the sale will support The ROC and our mission. We hope to see you there!

Cerny Art Studio is located at 194 Walnut Street in East Aurora.

The ROC will be at the Hulbert Library of the Town of Concord tomorrow (Tuesday, November 4th) from 10am-12pm (extended hours available) along with our friends Neighborhood Legal Services Inc. and WNY Independent Living Inc. (WNYIL). Stop by for assistance with Medicaid 1115 Waiver screenings, eviction and other legal issues, and dual Medicaid/Medicare enrollment.
