Meet our newest therapist CARL BENTLEY, LPCA, LCADC
I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
from the University of the Cumberlands (2023) and became a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) in February 2024. My journey into the counseling profession was inspired by my personal experience in overcoming addiction and guided by my faith, which instilled in me a deep sense of purpose to help others find healing and hope.
My clinical focus is in substance use treatment, though my foundation encompasses supporting youth and the broader community in addressing both mental health and addiction-related challenges. I earned my Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) credential in the summer of 2025, followed by my supervision designation in November 2025. Additionally, I completed Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) training through the EMDR Institute in 2025 to expand my trauma-informed care approach.
Over the past two years, I have dedicated myself to working as a mental health and substance use clinician, finding immense fulfillment in helping individuals and groups reach meaningful change. My therapeutic style is person-centered, collaborative, and grounded in empathy. I strive to create a nonjudgmental, supportive environment where clients can gain deeper self-understanding and develop the tools necessary for lasting recovery and personal growth.
I am passionate about continuing my professional development and furthering my ability to help others heal emotionally, mentally, and spiritually through the knowledge, skills, and compassion I continue to cultivate in this field.
