Dr. Sai Vemula is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon with a deep-rooted passion for healing and a strong commitment to community. While he proudly calls New Jersey home, Dr. Vemula has lived in over five countries before settling in California, where he was raised from middle school onward. A global resident in the truest sense. Dr. Vemula earned his undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley and later completed a master’s program in Stem Cell Biology at Rutgers University.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (DABPM) and board-qualified in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery (RRA) by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS).
Dr. Vemula earned his doctorate from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. He went on to hone his skills in a rigorous foot and ankle surgical residency at Rutgers Health CMC, followed by an advanced reconstructive foot and ankle fellowship at Orthopedic Institute Brielle Orthopedics. His clinical expertise includes forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, arthroscopy, minimally invasive techniques, Charcot limb salvage, external fixation, and total ankle replacement.
Dr. Vemula’s dedication to advancing the profession is evident through his research contributions featured in podiatry journals and posters at national podiatric conferences.
Dr. Vemula is a strong advocate of preventive medicine, taking the time to educate his patients and their families about the underlying causes of foot and ankle conditions and the importance of long-term management. His goal is to provide outstanding patient care beyond their expectations with an unwavering commitment to optimal healing, function, and mobility.

One of the causes of hallux varus is iatrogenic.
This pt came to me for continued and worsening pain after bunion surgery, a distal osteotomy.
Patient did not want a fusion, so I tried a reverse austin.
She may still need a fusion in the future. Till then I'll take this!

Meet the Doctor.

Dr. Nadia Shah has completed a 4-year medical training at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed an intense 3-year foot and ankle reconstructive surgical residency at Hoboken University Medical Center.

Dr. Shah is Board Certified with American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She is pursuing certification with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

She holds certificates in Lapiplasty Bunion Surgery, Arthroscopic foot and ankle Surgery and Total Ankle Replacement Surgery.

Dr. Shah offers treatment for all foot and ankle pain. These include bunions, hammer toes, calluses, neuroma, warts, ankle instability, orthotics, foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, trauma care and much more.

Dr. Shah provides care to all ages, pediatrics to geriatrics.​

The Practice is currently accepting most insurances.

Dr. Shah is a personable person who respects all walks of life. She will treat you as a person, not as a patient.
