Dear Residents and Families:
With inclement weather expected in our area, we want to reassure you that the safety, comfort, and care of our residents remain our highest priority. To ensure uninterrupted support during the storm, many members of our staff and management team will be staying on-site at the community.
As forecasts indicate the possibility of severe weather impacting our area for multiple days, our team will essentially become residents themselves, allowing us to continue providing consistent, attentive care throughout the duration of the storm.
We are asking for your help in making this experience as comfortable and positive as possible for both our residents and our dedicated staff. If you would like to contribute, we welcome donations of:
· Snacks and beverages (sodas, energy drinks, etc.)
· Easy-to-prepare or warm-up foods (pizza, canned goods, microwavable items)
· Games or activities that can be donated or temporarily borrowed
· Air mattresses that can be borrowed for staff use
Additionally, one of our staff members will be celebrating her 20th birthday during the storm. Since she will be spending this special day caring for our residents, we would love to help make it memorable with any birthday-themed items or treats.
If you are unable to shop, we will also accept cash donations, which will be used to purchase supplies on Friday in preparation for the weather.
Our staff is truly loving, dedicated, and committed to the well-being of those we serve. Together, we can make the best of this situation and create a warm, supportive environment despite the storm.
Thank you for your generosity, understanding, and continued support of our community.
Yours truly,
Joy Elliott
Executive Director
