To be human is to feel deeply.
Yoga doesn’t ask us to push that away. It invites us to stay with what is, with presence, compassion, and curiosity.
Whether we’re stretching fascia in yoga or sitting with tangled thoughts in meditation, difficult sensations and emotions may rise to the surface.
When we’re willing to feel our own pain, we access our deepest sensitivities. We touch a place within us that is tender, empathetic, and kind.
