A deer may have exceptional hearing, but when it comes to eyesight, they're falling behind. When it comes to Visual Acuity, the average deer sees at about 20/60, so according to the DMV they would unfortunately need to wear glasses to get their licenses.
Deer are also dichromatic, which means they only see in shades of blues and yellows, (just like your dog) unable to distinguish between red, orange, & green. Check out the next couple slide to see a sort of visual representation to help understand what that means
