Virtual listening sessions for transition planning.

The Division of Special Education at the Minnesota Department of Education is hosting three virtual community listening sessions with a focus on transition planning and graduation for students with disabilities. These sessions are held for you to share your stories, ask questions, and offer feedback on how Minnesota schools can better support students with disabilities as they exit high school. Creator of the Captain Underpants and Dog Man series, author and cartoonist Dav Pilkey was diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia as a child. "He was so disruptive in class that his teachers made him sit out in the hallway every day," reads part of his bio on his website. "Luckily, Dav loved to draw and make up stories, so he spent his time in the hallway creating his own original comic books—the very first adventures of Dog Man and Captain Underpants."
