Last month, I was grateful to have checked off a bucket list item- my first marathon! Now, I am fairly decent at a lot of athletic activities, but running does not come easily to me. It's hard. Very hard. Among the many training miles put in, I had at least 4 *almost* injuries start to sneak in. But, knowing what I know about the body, especially my hypermobile body, I diagnosed myself and started treating myself right away with corrective exercises. This allowed me to keep training, and decrease pain before it became a BIG pain and a sidelining injury.
