After enjoying a delightful supper at Imperial Park, the three of us spent time on the back patio, appreciating the sunshine, birdlife, and beauty of our surroundings. We then embarked on a brief excursion, visiting Lakeside Gardens and then off to the CMR , taking a tour of the premises, showcasing recent developments at the building site, which garnered considerable interest. Our journey continued with a stroll to The Grand Terrace, followed by a visit to my new office. Upon returning to Imperial Park, we engaged in a nostalgic game of Sorry, an activity we likely played during our childhood. The experience was thoroughly enjoyable, leaving us all in high spirits and amusement.

Last night's bus trip to the Spring Concert at the University of Lutheran Church was a huge success, with community members from Imperial Park in attendance to witness the outstanding Arts Chorale of Greater Lansing. In a demonstration held at Imperial Park, Chef Frankie, assisted by Christine, showcased the art of making crapes. The community members present were captivated by every step of the process. The participants enjoyed their creations topped with blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, or all three, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. The members of the community in the three buildings regularly look forward to their Friday afternoon get-togethers, especially the camaraderie, and today they particularly enjoyed blueberry pie and sharing memories of their younger years spent picking blueberries under the guidance of their mothers and grandmothers who taught them how to make pies. They also have an interest in fun facts and trivia surrounding blueberries and the color blue.
