We've finished our regional training with educators, mental health professionals, and law enforcement personnel with partnering districts within Genesee ISD. Thank you to those who attended, and we look forward to working with you to support high-risk youth and create safer communities 💪 📚 🏫

Empowering safer schools in action 📚 🙌

Prevent 2 Protect presented "Making Management Matter: Strengthening the 'M' in School-Based BTAM" during the Advanced School Safety Academy hosted by the Michigan State Police Office of School Safety -- equipping professionals with the tools to manage high-risk and high-need adolescents in the K-12 setting.

Collaboration saves lives, and this was another step forward ➡️

🧠 💡 Prevent 2 Protect had the honor of presenting at the Michigan Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (MCCAP) Annual Fall Meeting!

With fellow female psychiatrists from Henry Ford Health, the University of Michigan, and Wayne State University, we were able to share insights on the intersection of mental health, early intervention, and targeted violence prevention, highlighting the power of collaboration in supporting youth well-being and safety in Michigan schools.
