Prevent 2 Protect's reach continues to grow 🌱 We're supporting 51 students across 37 districts, each with an Individualized Care Plan designed to help them succeed. Prevent 2 Protect is proving that proactive intervention and a multi-disciplinary care team can change trajectories and strengthen communities 🙌 🏫

Prevent 2 Protect offers MI-BTAM Basic Training to help districts build and strengthen Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management teams. Our training provides practical guidance, tools, and strategies so schools can confidently meet the new requirements and better support student safety.

We want to congratulate our very own P2P mentor, Jay Greene, on his induction into the Greater Flint African American Sports Hall of Fame. Jay has always been a shining star on and off the court and field. He now shines his light on all of us who are lucky enough to work with him. We're honored to be included in a community conversation hosted by the City of Lansing on Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPOs).

Our project manager, Danielle Murphy, joined a panel of local leaders and professionals to discuss how ERPOs can be used to prevent harm and support community safety. Conversations like these are essential for building awareness, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring communities understand the resources available to intervene before a crisis occurs.

Prevent 2 Protect is proud to be represented at the American College of Osteopathic Neurologists and Psychiatrists 2026 Mid-Year Meeting, where our director is presenting on anxiety in children and adolescents.
