Leadership starts at the top, and at Schaefer Dental Group East Lansing we are grateful for the two dentists who help create the positive environment our team and patients enjoy every day.

Although National Dentist Day was last week, after celebrating our wonderful assistants we wanted to take a moment to recognize the doctors you may see at your next appointment.

Dr. Mackley began his journey with Schaefer Dental Group in 2016 as a sterilization tech and dental assistant before heading to dental school at the University of Michigan. He and his wife, Morgan, have a daughter and a son-and another little one on the way!

Dr. Moore has been with Schaefer Dental Group for nearly 20 years. She and her husband, Derek, have three children who stay busy with sports, and she even coaches some of their basketball teams. She also played basketball in college at Ohio State!

Thank you, Dr. Mackley and Dr. Moore, for the leadership and positivity you bring to our office every day! 🦷

OF COURSE we celebrated our assistants last week… but the celebration continued into this week because Sydney was enjoying her Spring Break! 🎉

Sydney has been with our office for about a year and a half. She is a full-time student at MSU and plans to continue her education to become a dentist one day! Sydney enjoys being in the dental field because she loves making connections with people and helping others gain confidence in their smiles.

Fun Fact: Sydney’s grandma and uncle are both dentists in the Czech Republic, and she has had the opportunity to work and shadow them while visiting!

Anna has been with Schaefer Dental Group for 3 years and brings many years of experience in the dental field with her. It truly shows in the knowledge she brings to our office and in her ability to learn the ins and outs of whichever doctor she is working with that day.
Anna enjoys working in dentistry because it gives her the opportunity to continue learning and evolving in a field that is always changing. She also loves working with patients and helping them improve their smiles and overall health.

Fun Fact: Anna has two adorable grandsons who are her pride and joy. 💙

If you've been in recently, you may have noticed that our office is expanding. Construction is officially underway, and we’re so excited about what’s ahead!

When your friends and family members call and let us know that you referred them, we are truly honored. First and foremost, we want to say THANK YOU. Your trust means everything to us, and we take great pride in caring for every patient as if they were our own friends and family.
