These drugs are being widely prescribed without thoroughly discussing the importance of maintaining balanced nutrition.
I’ve also seen them trigger eating disorder (primarily anorexia nervosa) in clients who have come to me for help.
Spread the word that if you, and anyone you know/love, are taking a GLP-1 medication, a registered dietitian should be consulted to ensure there is sufficient nutrition intake!
