We only get one body in this lifetime. It is SO important to respect and treat it well. We don’t get to pick our genes. We DO get to:

1. Choose how we speak to our bodies.
2. Choose how we use/move our bodies.
3. Choose what we put in our bodies…

Everything from functional foods, to those that help us appreciate all our senses, to those that are just plain delicious and eaten for the pure sake of enjoyment!

Sometime my clients feel like they’re not making progress in treatment. Then I remind them that much of their progress may be slow and small, and hard to see in the middle of the day to day grind.

They sometimes want to give up because the progress they WANT to see is so big that it’s unreachable.

HOORAY!! Michigan will no longer be one of the two U.S. states not providing licensure for dietitians.

Today, the Michigan Senate passed HB4608 on a bi-partisan 25-11 vote.

This means better preventative health care and insurance coverage for MI residents! The only thing left to do on this is for Gov. Whitmer to sign it into law!
