I’m not sure how we got here so quickly, but this weekend wrapped up Emma’s 6th year dancing at — and somehow, she had 6 dances this season, like it was meant to be! 💃🏽 ✨
Watching her on stage this weekend, I couldn’t help but reflect on how far she’s come. From a tiny girl in a tutu just learning to follow the music, to a more poised, passionate dancer who now takes the stage with grace, strength, and joy. This was her second year as a company member, and we’ve seen such a shift in her — in her technique, presence, and confidence — but also in how she carries herself off the stage.
We are beyond proud of the hard work she puts in week after week, and so deeply grateful to the UDC family for pouring into her with love and intention. Thank you to Ms. Shannon, Ms. Pam, Ms. Kelly , Ms. Sam R., and Ms. Sam (and more!) for creating such a beautiful space for these girls to grow — not just as dancers, but as people.
Emma, watching you dance is one of the greatest joys of my life. We love you so much and can’t wait to see you dance on stagege at nationals!!! 🖤🤍
