While our name remains the same, we’re opening a new building for children, adolescents, and teens, and we need your help naming it.
We’re looking for something short, creative, and youth-friendly to use UNDER the Urban Balance Therapy name.

Transformation is at the heart of the work we do.

We’re excited to share that we’ve purchased a second building downtown in the City of East Moline that will soon be reimagined—at the same time our downtown is experiencing its own transformation. This feels especially meaningful to us. Just as individuals grow and heal, communities do too.

This location will become the hub for all of our child, adolescent, and teen services—a space intentionally designed to support growth, safety, and connection for young people and their families.

Creating a space that reflects hope, balance, and care is an important step in our journey, and we’re grateful to be rooted in a downtown that’s evolving right alongside us.
More to come—we can’t wait to share the process. 🌱

Rest, recharge, and goats! 🐐💙

This past weekend, our staff traveled to Galena to rest and recharge. We enjoyed time together, beautiful scenery, and even went hiking with goats! 🐐❄️ Taking time to connect as a team helps us return refreshed and ready to support those we serve.

In addition to counseling services, we offer educational consulting, psychoeducational assessments, and neurodevelopmental assessments for children and adolescents ages 3–21.

Our team works closely with families and schools to support academic, social, and emotional success. We bring strong experience in both school and clinical settings and are knowledgeable in supporting students with IEPs, 504 Plans and daily school concerns.

We are excited to share that we are adding another child/adolescent therapist to our office!

Kelly Sikardi will be joining our practice on January 23rd and will be working with children ages Pk–Elementary School. No waitlist!

We pride ourselves on having child and adolescent therapists with strong backgrounds in both school and clinical settings. Kelly brings valuable experience in both areas and is knowledgeable in supporting students with 504 plans and IEPs.

We are thrilled to welcome her to our team and look forward to the support she will provide to our families.
