Self care recently has been discovering that I can use all of the massage chairs and red light therapy in the new renovated gym by my house! What a great way to end a short 30 min workout!!

Self care does not always look like working out. Lately it’s been reading, being outside, mixed with working out, continuing to listen to what I need! What is self care for you right now?

Intuition is a calm directive, not a questioning.
If you have what you thought was an intuitive connection, but it doesn’t turn out how you thought, you may be intuiting a time further down your time line, or it wasn’t intuition. It could have been hope or fear. There is no need to judge this. Just keep tuning in and noticing outcomes.

Fear is a question, intuition is a calm directive.

Most people aren’t blocked by mindset.
They’re lead by unconscious rules formed during moments of threat.

Rules like:

“If I slow down, I’ll be punished.”

“If I earn more, I’ll lose connection.”

These weren’t failures of confidence.
They were intelligent adaptations.
Your nervous system made contracts to keep you safe. (🫶🏻🫶🏻)

And it worked.
For that season.

But those rules were written in a different chapter.

They haven’t been updated for who you are now.

Growth doesn’t require breaking yourself open.

It requires renegotiation.

What rule do you feel when you imagine wanting more?

I can’t slow down….
I have to say yes…
I have to reach a certain thing by a certain age?

Are you a business owner?

Did you know that If you over give, if you had to be overly responsible, or even had to “parent a parent”, it can sometimes feel harder to have a business, product or hold space for clients?

A subconscious block around “Self-Abandonment could be at play!

Your nervous system is loyal to “Who it believes you are allowed to be” 😳 it keeps you held in an old identity.

How can EFT help a new identity emerge?

Start by just tapping on the side of your hand.
And repeat:

“Even though a part of me learned that being responsible meant abandoning myself, I see this pattern with compassion.”

Start there, see how it feels to acknowledge compassion for self. Come back this week if you are ready for the next steps! Do you resonate with this?

I’m so grateful for each one of you! Design Thoughts is closed for the holiday! I will re-open on January 2nd!

We talk about wanting more money, more options, more health, more time, more love….but what I have found that we really want, is to trust ourselves completely so we 🍁stop leaking energy,
🍁doubting decisions,
🍁and outsourcing authority.

That is the practice of tuning into our intuition. It’s a reminder that is in MANY of my personal journals over the years!!

When I stop outsourcing my authority on me, I listen to my intuition.
