Today is Flag Day. Each year, the holiday commemorates the adoption of the US Flag which dates back to June 14, 1777 two years to the day that the "American Continental Army" was established in 1775.

June 6, 2018 marks 74 years since the historic D-Day landings at Normandy. Veterans are one of our greatest national treasures, and those who gave their live's in sacrifice for our freedoms are our nation's greatest legacy. We're privileged to remember them today as Americans.

Today is the "National Day of Prayer", a national holiday signed into law in 1988. Prayer isn't about one religion, it is about faith. Prayer brings people together. Today, take a moment to think about who you pray to, what you pray for - but remember most why you pray.

For 2018, National Prayer Day has a new theme:
"UNITY: Pray for America"

So, go out today - do something awesome, and maybe take a moment to pray.
