Remmert Funeral Home was delighted to host its Annual Trunk or Treat event yesterday, welcoming more than 500 trick-or-treaters from throughout the community. Families enjoyed an evening full of festive fun, sweet treats, and imaginative displays as associates and community members transformed their trunks and vehicles into creative masterpieces. Themes included Shrek, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Cookie Monster, and many more, making for a colorful and entertaining experience for all ages. Each year, Remmert Funeral Home proudly partners with East Peoria Elementary School District 86 to align their Trunk or Treat events, providing families the opportunity to conveniently visit and enjoy both celebrations. This collaborative effort continues to grow in popularity, offering a safe, family-friendly environment for the community to come together and celebrate the Halloween season. With perfect weather and an incredible turnout, the event was a tremendous success. Laughter, smiles, and a strong sense of community filled the evening, creating lasting memories for everyone who attended.
