My Story

You can call me a hairstylist, although “Hairapist” and “Hair Ninja” are some of my favorite names I’ve been called in the last 18 years in the beauty industry. Being a stylist is the perfect outlet for my creativity, but what I possibly love even more is nurturing the needs of others. I strive to make my client’s day to day easier, working with the hair’s natural texture and tendencies, rather than against it. I cut and style all types of hair, however, specialize in curly hair and help manage hair loss from the effects of chemotherapy and other traumas. I’ve often been told by clients that I bring them a sense of peace when they come see me. These are the moments that bring me such clarity around why I love doing hair - treating it as a healing art.
