We were thrilled to welcome Calvin Alexander from the Rhode Island Beekeepers Association today for a fascinating presentation all about bees and honey. Calvin shared his expertise on everything from the incredible work honeybees do to the art of beekeeping, and we were completely captivated!
The room was buzzing with curiosity (pun intended!) as everyone asked thoughtful questions and learned something new about these amazing pollinators. It’s always a joy to see everyone so engaged and excited to learn.

It was a pleasure to perform for the wonderful people at Hattie Ide Chaffee Home in Rhode Island today!!! I remember my grandfather telling me to do it places like this, because the people will really appreciate it, and he was right!!! It was such a MOVING experience, so many magical moments with these great people!!! THANKS for having me!!!!

We had the most wonderful time decorating these adorable little pumpkins that were so generously gifted to us by a kind family member! 🧡
We covered them in colorful pom-poms and festive Thanksgiving stickers! The results are absolutely delightful, and now each table in our dining room has its own cheerful little pumpkin centerpiece. 🍂
A huge thank you to Anthony Rivera for coming up with this fantastic idea, it was a hit with everyone!

🎃 What a Fun Filled Halloween! 🎃
We had such a wonderful day celebrating Halloween here at the home! A huge thank you to our amazing dietary staff who put together a beautiful Halloween employee breakfast this morning, it was absolutely delicious!
We’re so grateful to all the staff who dressed up in costume, our residents thoroughly enjoyed seeing everyone’s creative outfits throughout the day!
But the highlight that our residents loved most. All of the adorable little trick-or-treaters who came by this evening to visit and collect their Halloween candy. Their smiles and costumes brought so much joy to everyone!
What a special, fun filled day it’s been. Happy Halloween from all of us! 🍬👻🦇

A huge THANK YOU to New England Garden Clubs for this wonderful recognition, and to Rhode Island Federation of Garden Clubs President Kathleen Damiani for presenting the award to us!
Thank you to the Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut for hosting this year’s 9th Annual Meeting. We had such a great time meeting so many wonderful people, it was fun, informative, and inspiring to be surrounded by fellow garden clubs.
We are so grateful to be part of this amazing community!💚

A huge THANK YOU to our awesome team who came out for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s!
It was so great to see everyone come together outside of work to support such an important cause. Whether you were speed walking like you were late for a shift change or strolling and chatting the whole way, every step counted and made a difference!
You all represent what makes Hattie Ide Chaffee special, a team that truly cares, not just during work hours, but in our community too. The residents would be so proud to know we walked for them and all those affected by Alzheimer’s.
Thanks for showing up, walking strong, and being the kind of people who make our workplace feel like family. You rock! 🎉
