Rhode Island Department of Education - RIDE is hosting their next Learning Lab

After a long and productive staff meeting, we ended the day with some serious team building fun!

Each team brought a completely different energy:

💙 Blue came in strategic, creative, and savvy! They had a plan the entire time and even found creative loopholes around the rules and obstacles that stood in their way.

💚 Green never gave up on the challenge or each other! With a few tragic collapses and some heightened frustrations, they kept rebuilding, encouraging one another, and working together.

💜 Purple was quiet… but dangerous! They kept their cool through the ups and downs and communicated calmly and effectively to dig their way out of the trenches.

🧡 Orange was truly a unit! Despite an unfortunate topple at the end, they worked extremely collaboratively — literally moving their bodies as one.

There was communication.
There was strategizing.
There may have been a little rule bending.
There was definitely a lot of laughing.

But this is exactly how we show up for our clients every single day — communicating, problem-solving, supporting one another, and pushing through challenges together.

Because a strong team that works together doesn’t just win games… it creates better outcomes for the families we serve.

The best team building activities aren’t just about winning — they’re about connection, encouragement, and building a culture people genuinely enjoy being part of.

Work hard. Laugh hard. Build together.

Relationship FIRST!

Safety is the starting point for everything we hope to build in our learners: connection, regulation, and growth.
