Every day I am completely humbled by the support the senior living community has shown myself, my staff and my residents! 💕. Lexi, with Rock Bridge Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care- brought by these amazing goodie bags to brighten our residents day! We will pass them out during lunch today! They simply wanted to recognize the difficult situations our residents are going through and bring them a little sunshine! ☀️. Some folks are just amazing to the core! With the news that our building will be ceasing operations on October 15th, Jane Silvers Frye collected these moving boxes from her neighbor and hand delivered them this morning. Thank you for you and your neighbors thoughtfulness and caring and compassion for the senior population. The boxes are in the dining room and free for any resident who is in need to take what they need. May you be Blessed for your kindness to others! 💕

Everyone in senior living knows that one thing in life is certain for us all … aging! I am beyond grateful for a community who is dedicated to seniors and ensuring that they’re always in the appropriate level of care to ensure they receive the best care possible! Thank you to all of our Senior Living Community for showing up today to educate our seniors on their options now or in the future. Advance preparation is always a great option! Sunshine with a side of Caribbean blue this morning please 💕. One of our most beautiful areas here at East Ridge Residence! The pool courtyard has always been a favorite. Our team has done a phenomenal job of keeping it up for our residents to enjoy! On July 4, 1776, the Second Continental Congress unanimously adopted the Declaration of Independence, announcing the colonies’ separation from Great Britain. The Constitution provides the legal and governmental framework for the United States. Happy Fathers Day from our families to yours! We have some incredible dads who mean so much to so many! We celebrated them with a Pizza and Beer luncheon on Friday and will celebrate them today with a special meal! We’re so grateful for each of them and hope they feel the love today and everyday.

“What is the meaning of Flag Day?

On this day 246 years ago, Congress created our national flag by commemorating Betsy Ross' creation of the Stars & Stripes.

There have been a total of 27 variations in flag design over the years, as colonies grew into states making the 50 states that are represented on the flag today by the white stars.

What do the symbols of the national American flag mean?

According to the National Flag Foundation, there is a star sewn into a blue background representing every state. The star represents justice, perseverance and vigilance. As for the colors, the red stripes are for valor and the white stripes are for purity and innocence.” Compliments of Indystar.com

Here at ERR we are Blessed with so many dedicated family members and residents! In honor of flag day - Pat Baker (wife of Bo Baker) and resident Joice Grow, decorated our seasons tree ever so appropriately 💕. It’s the most beautiful flag tree ever! Thank you for helping make ERR beautiful every holiday! We appreciate you and your volunteering heart!
