Pennies from Heaven

I found a penny today
Just laying on the ground.
But it's not just a penny
This little coin I've found.

Found pennies come from heaven.
that's what my Grandpa told me.
He said Angels tossed them down.
Oh, how I loved that story!

That when an Angel misses you
They toss a penny down,
sometimes just to cheer you up.
To make a smile out of your frown.

So don't pass by that penny
When you are feeling blue.
It may be a penny from heaven
That an Angel has tossed to you.

Today a Hershey's chocolate bar caused a wave.

He loved Hershey's chocolate. His favorite was the dark chocolate bar with almonds. Seeing it in the store was fine, and I even debated buying a bar even though I'm not a fan of dark chocolate. I didn't put it in my basket and continued my shopping.

But driving home, I thought about that chocolate bar and how I would have bought it. How I probably would have bought two because he would have finished the first in a day. And that caused a tidal wave.

If you like Hershey's chocolate, please have some for him.
