Flannel season is here!! Fall can be hectic with back to school, hunting season and sports. I personally love the way our town quiets down as the tourist season slows. The fall color change forces you to appreciate all of our seasons of life. A time to remember, reflect and set our intentions.

I remember how excited I was to leave Oscoda and start college. How home sick I felt that first year. Making that four hour drive back every other weekend. As soon as I hit Tawas and could see Lake Huron, I knew I was back with my people. Now I never have to leave!
