Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung on Heather’s door with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;
Ernie was supposed to be nestled snug in his beds;
While visions of sugar-plums danced in in his head… best laid plans gone awry!
