Pure Physical Therapy

Please allow me to introduce the very skilled and talented, Dr. Megan Wiley PT, DPT! She will be the lovely face of Pure Physical Therapy while I (Dr. Molly) am out on maternity leave through March.

Dr. Megan earned her doctorate in physical therapy at UW Madison in 2012. As a long distance runner and dancer, she naturally gravitated towards orthopedics when she started her career, however, after the birth of her third child where she developed her own postpartum challenges, she made a shift and dove into the world of women’s health and public floor and has pursuit advanced training in this area ever since. She truly feels called to help support those in the pregnancy or postpartum, or those with pelvic floor dysfunction, bowel or bladder changes, post hysterectomy, pelvic organ, prolapse, and those with pelvic pain conditions, such as endometriosis or IBS.

She completed her women’s health coach certification in 2021 and her certificate in perimenopause and menopause in 2022, both from the integrative women’s health Institute. She is a postpartum corrective exercise specialist as well as a public health specialist and has advanced training in manual therapy, including myofascial, release and functional mobilization, in addition to holding a certificate and applied functional science through the Gray institute.

I am so happy to have her here to help while I spend time with my baby and family these next few months. Dr. Megan will be available on Tuesdays from 9 am - 3:30 pm.

We had a great turnout at the inaugural Coffee Connection Happy Hour at Honey Creek Collective. Coffee and conversations were flowing with some great people from the community.

While this isn't necessarily a networking event, we had guests from a handful of local companies also: East Troy Acupuncture, Greek Almond Dip, Prairie Junction Farms, 88 West Pilates, Pure Physical Therapy, Petal + Clover , Eagle Public Market, East Troy Farmers Market, Frank's Lunchbox, Anderson Commercial Group, LLC and more.

Hi!

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted on here. But yes, I’m still here 🤗

Sometimes we all need a break from social media—Especially in the summer time when we should be busy enjoying the outdoors.

I’ve been enjoying life and playing outside, but also I’ve had plenty of time in the car and preoccupied with a few major life changes!

Several clients were in need of home visits the last few months. (Reminder- I do home visits if warranted. This is something we discuss on a case by case basis 🏠)

I helped move my sister back to the Midwest on a road trip from Colorado. 🏔️ we were able to get some much needed twin time!👯‍♀️

I got engaged to a wonderful man 💍 which meant road trips to visit him, and road trips back and forth to get his house ready to sell.

All exciting things, of course. I am feeling very grateful for what lies ahead and all of God’s abundant blessings. 🙏🏼

I will be announcing my name change when we make it official, but only a few more months of Dr. Molly Platt! 😉

Suffice it to say…yes, I am still here and treating clients at Pure PT.

Thanks for your understanding of my hiatus from “the gram”!
