Gua Sha helps release surface-level tension, improve circulation, and free up stuck fascia. It makes the tissue more pliable, less guarded, and more responsive.
Eccentric muscle contractions (think slow lowering, lengthening under control) help retrain the muscle to stay strong through its full range. This builds resilience, improves mobility, and reduces the chance of that same tightness coming right back.
