The Real Benefits of Cupping for Fascia & Lymph

Cupping isn’t just about “pulling metabolic waiste out.” Its real power lies in bringing fresh blood and hydration to the surface tissues, creating space for fascia and lymph to move more freely. It also creates space creating a healthy environment for nutrients and oxygen to thrive.

When I first learned cupping over 25 years ago, it was taught as negative pressure therapy—and that language still matters.

At the time, my massage work leaned deep and intense. I was looking for a way to offer the same therapeutic results without forcing tissue or overwhelming the nervous system. Negative pressure became that bridge. Instead of compressing layers with deep pressure, cupping lifts the tissue, allowing fascia to decompress and lymph to circulate without being pushed.

Cupping can be subtle and soothing or deep and intense—just like massage. The skill is knowing how much force to apply, how long to apply it, and why. Used well, even gentle suction can create profound change. Used poorly, cups can bruise, irritate tissue, and leave marks that aren’t therapeutic—they’re simply signs of excess force.

Just like deep tissue massage, more pressure doesn’t equal better results. Less can be just as effective—sometimes more so—when the practitioner understands tissue response, circulation, and the nervous system. Cupping isn’t about aggression; it’s about precision, intention, and respect for the body’s thresholds.

That’s the difference between technique and mastery.

Bronson and I both offer cupping on our table. Ask for it when you come in.

The cards don’t lie—and today they told the truth. ✨

Before I taught class, I pulled the Three of Pentacles.
Afterward, the King of Wands wouldn’t stop staring at me.

Here’s why they’re mine:

The Three of Pentacles showed up because I didn’t come to perform. I came to build. To collaborate. To weave a container where every voice mattered and the work could actually land.

No hierarchy. No huge ego. Just skill, trust, and shared purpose.

And then came the King of Wands.
The reminder that once the space is held, once the magic moves— I step fully into my fire.

This is leadership without apology. Vision without doubt. Confidence earned, not borrowed.

These cards together say this: I know when to build with others and when to stand in my power alone.
I don’t just teach the work.
I anchor it.

Then I light the torch and walk forward.

Standing in the fire

What an absolutely magical weekend with a circle of powerful women. These weren’t humans coming just to gather new tools for their baskets—they came ready to do the work. And as guides, facilitators, and energy workers, we must remember: our inner work is just as sacred as the work we offer others.

When I teach, I read the room and let the training breathe—shaping it to meet the energy and needs of the group. And wow… did we bend. I witnessed deep soul-searching, the shedding of old beliefs that no longer served, and a clearer sense of purpose anchoring into this work. It was potent. It was meaningful. It was real. I truly hope they received even a fraction of what I gained from being in their presence.

Every time I teach, my understanding of what it means to sit authentically in this work deepens. Watching these lightworkers open up, soften, and hold space for one another was nothing short of powerful. I am exhausted in the best way—and deeply energized, reminded once again why this path matters so much. 🌙

With love, intention, a little magic and unapologetic

Thank you for everyone wh came to share my space for Experience Reiki sound meditation. The conversations that followed did not disappoint. Keep shedding just a few more weeks and then Fire Horse and rise of the phoenix!🔥

Smoke never rushes. It rises, curls, dissolves—teaching us how to leave old beliefs behind.

Old beliefs don’t shatter when we’re done with them. They soften. They thin. They drift away once we stop gripping them for survival.

The roles we learned to play—protector, pleaser, masker, strong one—were never wrong. They were necessary, they were our survival role. And now… they’re heavy.

There is a quiet grief in letting go of who we had to be.
A strange aloneness that comes when the noise of suppression lifts and you can finally hear your own breath again. Your own inner voice, steady and unfamiliar, saying: there is more than this.

We often project our old stories onto new moments, reliving the same terrain out of habit. Same reactions. Same paths. Same ordinariness dressed up as safety.

But smoke shows us another way—
it changes direction without apology, travels without a map, finds openings where walls once felt solid.
Breakthrough doesn’t always look dramatic.
Sometimes it looks like choosing a different thought.
A different response.
A different way of experiencing the same life.

This is the journey—
not becoming someone new,
but traveling back to who you were before survival decided for you.

Move into your lens and adjust.
You been out of focus to long

Hope to see you all again in the echoes of the gong.

Deep gratitude to everyone who showed up for the Shedding. The room was full and energy felt. I’m always in awe of who answers the call. Energy has a way of gathering the right people—like an ancient remembering, old souls finding each other again. It never stops impressing me.

Last night’s group was potent. The connection. The communication. There were moments I simply sat back and let the room lead—letting lived experience speak, letting supportive souls guide one another. That’s when the real work happens.

If you thought the releasing and skin-shedding was already done… think again. The final letting go is often the roughest. Savor it. Learn from it. This is the closing chapter of the Wood Snake.

The Fire Horse is coming. You can ride it in—or be left in its dust. Your choice.

So ask yourself: What still needs to be shed? Material clutter? Outgrown beliefs? Comfortable excuses that keep you stuck?

No judgment. Just honesty. 🐍🔥

We’re in the final month of shedding skin 🐍✨
And no—this isn’t about fixing yourself.

The Wood Snake was never here to break you down…
it came to help you release.

Old identities.
Outdated vows.
Coping patterns that once kept you safe-but now keep you small.

Like the Snake, we shed because we are growing, not because something is wrong. And like Wood, we rise upward only because our roots have gone deep. 🌳

You’re not becoming someone new— you’re returning to your original blueprint. The one that existed before you learned to armor up.

Now listen…
We’re in crunch time. ⏳
The Fire Horse is approaching fast, and it does not move gently. There is still skin to shed before that heat arrives. Tonight’s Full Moon deep dive is where my students receive the tools to finish this final release.
That group is officially full 🌕 —but you are not out of options.

If you’re ready to shake off that 2025 skin and step clean, clear, and energized into a fiery 2026,
the Sound Meditations are waiting for you. This is where the body lets go of what the mind keeps recycling.

Shed.
Soften.
Stir the fire.

Hope to see you in the echoes of the Gong

Are you back at the gym? Bronson has massage available this week. Sports massage, taping, IASTM, cupping, Kush creams and motivating discussion. Teenagers welcome.

Anyone can say they do sports massage—but do they actually speak athlete? 🏋️‍♂️ Bronson does.

Bronson and I share the same obsession: living it, lifting it, researching it. He’s a true biohacker, always chasing what’s next in performance and recovery. Not just a massage therapist—he’s a lifter, athlete, movement nerd, and muscle whisperer who knows what helps your goals…and what wrecks them.

From IASTM, taping, muscle flossing, and psoas work to full-on vascular flush resets, Bronson’s your go-to for keeping your body game-ready and pain-free.

💥 Highly recommend for all our Wenatchee athletes—hockey players, lifters, CrossFit beasts, and everyone who lives to move.
