If you raised your “Fund-A-Need” paddle during our pledge fast round at the Annual Fundraising Dinner last Fall to provide funding for additional iPads - THANK YOU! The iPads are being enjoyed and are a big boost in achieving goals set by participants in our Day Program during Health & Wellness.

Let‘s continue to make a difference together! We are ready to expand the use of the iPads by purchasing Proloquo and Proloquo2Go software which will provide alternative tools, systems and strategies to aid in more confident and expanded communication. A portion of the money raised this year by our annual Tackle the Hills Challenge Walk for Autism Awareness will be used for this. The main fundraising goal for the walk is to provide this tool for each person at Rainbow Omega who would benefit from its use. Help us reach this goal by participating in this year’s walk on Saturday, April 25. ✨ Congratulations to April Whiteside Rainbow Omega Employee of the Month for February ✨ April joined the Rainbow Omega Vocational Team in July 2025. She truly has a servant’s heart. She gets along wonderfully with all of the individuals served at Rainbow Omega and is always willing to help her co-workers, often without even being asked to do so. She has also been a tremendous help to our Residential Program by filling in before and after her regular shift in the Vocational Program and helping as needed on the weekends as well. April is dependable, quiet, easy going and a joy to have as a co-worker and employee. We are grateful that she is part of our Rainbow Omega family.
