Another busy week at Chesapeake Voyagers…..
Only halfway through and already so much to celebrate.
Monday, Ripley shared his story and life experiences with everyone.
Tuesday we were closed to honor Veterans Day! Thank you to all of those who have served, including Mr. Demetrick Cephas! 🇺🇸
And Wednesday we did some early Christmas shopping at Annapolis mall. 🛍️

Today we welcomed back one of our favorites- Instruments of Healing, Inc. The room was packed and everyone had fun taking turns singing and playing instruments. Thanks to everyone who participated. Thank you to James for the Taco bar lunch with all the fixings. And thank you again to Instruments of Healing for bringing so much joy to our center!

This week was jam packed with tricks, treats, thrills and fun!
Monday was Halloween crafts with Miki! The peers created fun Halloween lanterns with flashing fairy lights and mini Halloween Lego sets.
Wednesday the peers crafted pumpkins by carving, painting and decorating them. A huge thank you to TJ's Amish Buildings, TJ Farms & TJ's Produce for donating these pumpkins to us!
Thursday CVI held its second annual FREE Haunted house! Those brave enough to enter enjoyed a screaming good time!
On Friday we wrapped up the week with a Costume party that included music, food and fellowship!

It was another busy and fun filled week at Chesapeake Voyagers. On Monday we welcomed Allie Hanes from Charlie Health to share her knowledge on Mental health and Co-occurring eating disorders.
On Tuesday the peers decorated Halloween masks for Arts & Crafts.
