It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of Smoke's peaceful passing over the weekend. As our beloved therapy dog, Smoke was more than a member of our practice; he was a trusted companion, a calming presence, and a gentle soul who touched many lives. His exceptional gift for working with children, providing comfort, connection, and joy, will be deeply missed. He cherished simple pleasures like goldfish crackers, belly rubs, and warmly greeting clients, but his heart belonged to the children. I acknowledge that this news may stir feelings of sadness or unexpected grief. You and your child are welcome to discuss this during our next session; I am here to provide support. With care.
