We're proud to recognize National Girls & Women in Sports Day 2026! Today is a celebration of progress, perseverance, and possibility. Not long ago, opportunities for girls and women in athletics were limited—often overlooked, underfunded, or outright denied. Through decades of advocacy and determination, barriers were challenged, doors were opened, and participation grew at every level of sport.

Today, girls and women are not just playing, they’re leading. They’re setting records, earning scholarships, shaping professional leagues, holding influential roles, and redefining what strength, skill, and leadership look like.

As we celebrate this day, we honor those who fought for opportunity, recognize how far we've come, and remain committed to building a future where every girl and woman has the chance to compete, belong, and thrive on and off the field.

On Friday, we kicked off 2026 with the Winter Edition of the Impact Field Hockey Clinic, featuring a lineup of talent including USA Indoor Team members Abby Burnett (Michigan) and Melea Weber (Boston College), along with 2X NCAA Champion goalkeeper Faye Post (Northwestern). We were also happy to welcome members of Brave Field Hockey Club and Division I players who proudly call NEPA home.

More than 120 registered campers spent the day immersed in skills sessions and drill work, followed by scrimmages designed to translate those skills into real game scenarios. The result was a morning filled with learning, growth, and friendly competition.

We extend a big thank you to our friends at Longstreth Field Hockey for their continued support of our clinics. As the nation’s leading field hockey supplier, their ongoing support strengthens our mission and enhances every clinic we host. We are equally grateful to our community supporters including Riverfront Sports and DJ Romeo G/DJ Finesse Kid, for helping create an engaging and memorable experience for all participants.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this winter clinic a success. We look forward to building on this momentum throughout 2026!

Last Call! We look forward to seeing everyone on Friday!

We are excited to announce the Impact Athlete Field Hockey Clinic, taking place on Friday, January 2, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Riverfront Sports in Scranton, PA. Leading this FREE clinic will be University of Michigan and National Indoor Team member Abby Burnett, Boston College and National Indoor Team member Melea Weber, and two-time NCAA Champion from Northwestern University, goalkeeper Faye Post. In addition to our lead clinicians, our community partner Brave Athletics will be assisting with the day’s events, along with other current Division I athletes.

Athletes in grades 6 through 12 are encouraged to bring their outdoor sticks and gear to kick off 2026 with some of the state’s top athletes and coaches. Check-in begins promptly at 9:15 AM, and each attendee will receive a complimentary clinic shirt and beverage.

We are also thrilled to share that our friends from Longstreth Field Hockey will be onsite with merchandise available for purchase. Be sure to stop by their table, thank them for their support, and pick up any last minute indoor or outdoor essentials. We look forward to seeing you there!

The next call sheet in the Physical Therapy Playbook focuses on swimming. Swimming athletes push their bodies through thousands of stroke repetitions each week, and while the sport builds strength and endurance, it also places unique demands on the shoulders, back, and hips. Overuse injuries are common when training volume increases without adequate recovery, and even small biomechanical inefficiencies can compound stress over time. Factors such as improper technique, muscle imbalances, and training errors may contribute to discomfort or limit performance potential. By promoting proper form, balanced conditioning, and early attention to warning signs, swimmers can stay healthier, train more effectively, and continue performing at their best.

It’s a jolly time! We had the privilege of uniting our from Lafayette College with our friends over at the Boys & Girls Club Easton during their annual Holiday Party! Aside from learning about all the great things the Boys & Girls Club does for their local community, these athletes were able to spend some time with the kids and serve them their holiday meal before the kids enjoyed some generous gift giving from the local community including some athletic items provided by the Five Star Heart Project!

A big thank you to Dean Young and the great staff at the club as well as our Impact Athletes: Sean Wilson, Ethan Hosak, Mason Kuehner, Camryn Fitch, and Jackson Vajda!
