She is attending Chesapeake College, and will start nursing school next fall. She is currently an MA/CNA/GNA. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family & friends and going to warm places!!

🧠 Alzheimer’s Disease & Women:
What We’re Not Talking About Enough

Did you know that women are disproportionately affected by Alzheimer’s disease?

Research shows:

• A key Alzheimer’s biomarker called Tau is more prevalent in women.
• Testosterone has been shown to have protective effects against Tau.
• Low testosterone levels are associated with higher Tau levels — especially in women who carry the APOE4 gene, the highest genetic risk factor for Alzheimer’s.
