Today, the Mid Shore Su***de Coalition hosted an in-person Partners Working Session at the Talbot County Health Department. Facilitated by Due East Partners Management and Consulting Firm, the session brought together regional partners to review key su***de prevention data, discuss emerging trends, and explore opportunities for stronger coordination and outcomes. Highlights included a data snapshot, insights from local partners and health officers, and small-group “Turn the Curve” conversations focused on solutions to reduce su***de across the Mid-Shore.

Did You Know? . . .Fi****ms were the most common lethal means used by Marylanders over age 65 who died by su***de, according to the CDC’s Web-Based Injury Statistics Query and Reporting System.

The Mid Shore Su***de Coalition is a community-led initiative dedicated to education, prevention, and awareness across the Mid-Shore region. It brings together partners and specialists to raise awareness through campaigns, events, and resources, fostering open dialogue, reducing stigma, and encouraging individuals to seek help and build life-saving connections.
