Our residents spent a few days making heartfelt cards, baking sweet treats, and delivering them to our local first responders station! Everyone had such a wonderful time preparing everything with love.
When we arrived, we were given an incredible tour of the station. We learned so many neat facts about the fire engines and ambulances, and gained a deeper appreciation for the brave firefighters and EMTs who serve our community every day.
We always love giving back, but this visit felt a little extra special. Spreading love, gratitude, and heartfelt thanks just in time for Valentine’s Day made it truly unforgettable. ❤️🚒🚑

Our long-awaited Tea Party finally took place this Tuesday, after being postponed due to the snow—and it was well worth the wait! ☕❄️

Residents and guests gathered together to enjoy an afternoon filled with warm conversation, delicious sweet treats, and comforting hot tea. The room was filled with laughter, friendship, and the simple joy of spending time together.

Sometimes the best moments are the ones we look forward to the most, and this tea party was no exception. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the afternoon so special! 💕

🎉 Last night, we hosted a warm and welcoming Housewarming Party in honor of our newest residents here at Candle Light Cove! 🏡✨

It was a lovely evening spent with new friends and familiar faces, as families joined us to celebrate this exciting new chapter. We enjoyed delicious treats, heartfelt conversations, and lots of laughter as everyone had the chance to get to know one another — including our wonderful management team!

We’re so happy to welcome our newest residents to the Candle Light Cove family. 💛 Here’s to new beginnings, meaningful connections, and making memories together!

We took a cold snow day traveled to Australia without ever leaving the building! 🇦🇺 Our Residents enjoyed learning about Australian life, culture, and cuisine—and even sampled some favorites. Experiences like these keep curiosity and joy alive.

Perfect day to warm up with cocoa and cookies! ☕🍪 Yesterday, our Life Stories residents enjoyed a cozy treat while learning some fun trivia about the history of hot chocolate—sweet moments and sweet memories all around.

Not all superheroes wear capes—some wear scrubs and others wear Carhartt jackets! 💙💪

Here are just SOME of the incredible faces who have kept our community running and weathered the storm so we never skipped a beat in caring for our residents.

Our Resident Wellness team has had multiple members stay all weekend. A dedicated housekeeper has kept our community tidy. Our Dining Experience Director has worked 12+ hour days, with kitchen staff being here to cook and serve meals. Our Safety Maintenance Engineer and assistant have been out shoveling snow, taking turns staying at the community. And our Executive Director has been shuttling team members, camping out in his office, serving meals, shoveling snow and even checking units on the roof.

It has truly been a 24/7 effort to keep everything up to par, and we are beyond grateful for every single person helping us through this storm.

THANK YOU to our amazing team—please stay safe out there!
